These Terms of Service govern your use of the BirKonuş mobile app and the birkonus.app website (the "Service"). By registering for or using the Service, you accept these terms. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

BirKonuş is a speaking-practice app that lets you speak about a topic for about a minute and gives you AI-assisted feedback, a score and a progress history on your speaking. The Service is an education/practice tool; it is not a professional exam, certification or advisory service.

2. Account and eligibility

• Some features require you to create an account with your name and email. You must make sure the information you provide is accurate.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and sign-in details.
• You must be at least [age limit] years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• The Service offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (Plus and Pro).
• Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms' terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the period. You can cancel renewal at any time from the relevant store's account settings.
• Prices shown in the app are the ₺ prices for Türkiye; refunds are subject to the relevant store's refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Not misuse the Service, overload it through automated means or attempt to bypass security measures.
• Not record content that infringes the rights of others or is unlawful.

5. Your content and feedback

The audio you record and the content you produce belong to you. To provide the Service (transcription, generating feedback and a score, storing your progress), you grant us permission to process this content. AI-generated feedback and scores are indicative and may be inaccurate; we do not guarantee their exactness.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself, its brand ("BirKonuş", "Bülbül"), design and content belong to us or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce or distribute them without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the Service. [Confirm the scope of this limitation with your lawyer.]

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to your account if you breach these terms. You may also stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.
